The Trophy now referred to as the Valentine Rosebowl was originally known as the Rotary Two Ball Foursome Trophy. Presented to the Rotary Club of Perth by Rotarian, George Valentine in September - 1920, it is the Perth Clubs oldest trophy, and could quite easily be the oldest Rotary Golf Trophy in the world? Due to the relative unpopularity of 2-ball foursome golf in the modern era, it is now played as a Better Ball Stableford Competition at the Club's annual Summer Outing, played over various Perthshire golf courses.
