"BIG-HEARTED Peter Vardy has provided a Vauxhall Corsa as the Star Prize for this Saturday’s Charity Fayre in Perth’s King Edward Street. Organised by the Rotary Club of Perth, the ‘Win-a-Car’ stall is the highlight of this popular, annual event, and it couldn’t be easier to

Perth FM are broadcasting live from the Fayre for the first time, and there will be candy-floss, balloons and face painting for the children.
This year, more than half of the 33 stands have been donated free of charge to local charities and good causes.
"This allows these organisations to either publicise themselves to the local community, or to use the opportunity to sell goods and produce to augment their funds. The remaining stalls will be manned by Rotarians, who hope to raise funds for both local, national and international charities.
Charities which have benefited in the recent past include: Childline,
Women’s Aid, Enable, YMCA, Perth Youth Orchestra, The Fairview School Project, BLESMA, Young Musicians Parent Assoc., Ship, The Samaritans, Bowerswell Homes, Sight Savers, Shelter Box, Water Survival Project in Nepal, VSO, Impact .........
